Jan Honza Tilinger, M.Eng. - *1977, chairmam of Civic Association Surya
The Chief Engineer who has created the building plans and will oversee and supervise its construction. Co-founder of the Civic Association Surya in 2006. Currently studying at the Czech Technical University (CVUT) in Prague, faculty of building - department of construction, completing his PhD thesis in the usage of natural materials in traditional architecture. Photographer, freelance journalist, specialized in the problems of developing countries.
Previous activities: Humanitarian worker with People In Peril (Sudan, Sri Lanka), NEWAH (Nepal).
Studies CVUT and Danish Technical University – Lungby.
Interests: Photography, architecture, ethnology, religion, extreme sports.

Tenzin Namgyal - Tennam - *1982, project officer for India
Tibetian teacher, interpreter and project officer for India. Fluent in Tibetan, Ladakhi, Hindi and English language. He has helped to choose the right location for The Sun School. He is a great link between the Zanskar inhabitants and Team Surya and he is also the Kargyak school committee representative. He likes music, plays guitar and sings.

Graduated from the Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Education, with a degree in Czech language and literature and Social sciences. She worked for the environmental NGO Arnika and as a teacher in a language school. Last year she spent in New Zealand, after coming back she joined the Surya team and this spring she is going to Kargyak as a teacher.

Jana Suchomelová, Bc.
Jana is a student of the International Development Studies at Palackeho University in Olomouc. She works as an outdoorsports tourist guide. She spent several years all over Europe and temporarilly she participates in the Surya project, where she attends to a matter of comunication with the volunteers in Moravia and organisation of attendant public campaign. This year she is going to spent several months is Kargyak, that is also the subject of her final thesis at the University Palackeho.

Jitka Akrmanová, Eng. - *1976, project accountant
She has studied the University of Economics in Praque, department of Econometrics and Operations Analysis. Working experiences: Forecaster (Unilever) and analytic (GE). She is also a guide at the travel agency Adventura – Raftcentre (climbing, rafting and bicycling). Now she is at maternity leave with two years old Venda and in May is expecting her second baby. She likes all sports, competes in florball and rafting.
She is the Chief accountant for Surya and is supervising the project’s finances and ensuring communication with donators.
